About Lauren Powell
I’ve been working for Katie Bell Physio since 2019, and I love delivering classes while helping people achieve fitness and other relevant goals. When I see people enjoy their exercise it gives me a feeling of accomplishment because it means I’m helping someone feel fulfilled in their health and fitness journey.
I am passionate about helping people be the best they can be and I love Pilates. Having experienced a number of injuries in the past including a lower back injury myself, I fully understand the benefits of Pilates and believe it can benefit anybody! I love how Pilates can be a challenge regardless of experience and fitness level.
I have been described as having a tendency of having a great attention to detail when teaching my Pilates and other fitness classes. This can help you to feel successful and confident during your Pilates work outs!

Hobbies, Hidden Talents & More Info
When I was a child I wanted to be a school teacher and I have taken a similar path as I am a University Lecturer by day and have also been teaching fitness classes for 9 years during the evenings and weekends. I also have a dog, I enjoy taking him out for walks in the countryside and take great pleasure in putting my feet up at the weekend! After all, I am a big believer in the importance of rest, recuperation and a healthy work-life balance! In addition to this, I’ve also just started short distance running.
