Pilates Instructor & Women’s Health Physiotherapist
Emily qualified in physiotherapy from Bradford University in 2007 achieving a 1st class honours degree. This was preceded by the completion of a Sport and Exercise Science degree at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2004. The currently works as a Senior Physiotherapist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals in the Community Continence Team. She has a keen interest in Women’s Health and Musculoskeletal physiotherapy since graduating which has led her to qualify in Pilates in 2011. Since she has been delivering classes from beginners to advanced, pregnancy to sports specific.
Emily teaches our Thursday evening classes and is a very knowledgeable, caring instructor. Emily also is our expert Womens Health Physiotherapist and works with ladies suffering from Pregnancy-related musculoskeletal problems with bladder, bowels or pelvic floor. Antenatal or postnatal problems associated with pregnancy or childbirth. Gynaecological problems such as incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic pain symptoms.
Emily is currently studying to become a Pilates trainer and will developing her skills in teaching people how to become Pilates Instructors themselves.
