Emily moved to Sheffield to study and never left due to her love of being able to escape to the Peak District. She was inspired to become a Physiotherapist after receiving rehabilitation for a chronic ankle injury as a teenager after years of pain and swelling.
Since qualifying she has worked at Rotherham Hospital and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals treating Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic and Neurological conditions. She loves using the skills she has as a Physiotherapist and seeing a patient achieve their goals, no matter how big or small they are.
I love my job because I come home each day knowing I have put a smile on someone’s face.
Emily’s top three words are: passionate, encouraging and understanding.
