Refined Sugar

‘Confession’- Ok I admit it, sugar is my complete weakness. If we go out for a meal I wouldn’t give the starters a second glance. In fact, I’d probably have a look at the puddings to see how much space I need to leave before picking a main course! I knew this was my biggest challenge; I turn to sweet things to satisfy hunger, stress and boredom. This cleanse was as much about cleansing as helping me to quit refined sugar. I quickly realised my sugar intake was wrapped up in habit and ritual. Once I got beyond that I was able to realise if I was hungry or not. I was amazed how quickly I didn’t crave sugar- it was less than 3 days! I couldn’t believe it- can you beat the sugar call?
